Une image peut-elle contenir toute la beauté d’une fleur ? C’est en tout cas ce que cherche la narratrice. Pour tenter de la fabriquer, elle s’empare d’un outil révolutionnaire, une Intelligence Artificielle. A travers le film, elle tisse un lien avec Mary Delany. En effet, les fleurs créées il y a 300 ans par la botaniste anglaise sont étrangement en résonance avec celles créées par les algorithmes. Entre technologie et émotions, Algorithms of Beauty questionne les limites de notre regard face aux images d’IA.
