A “modern” Turkish family expects an exchange student from France who will accompany their daughter for the summer. When this “expected visitor” comes, they don’t find him “French” enough.
Çağıl Bocut completed his MA studies on Film Production at London Kingston University after his graduation from Boğaziçi University. His short film Arada was selected for Nauossa and various short film festivals. His experimental work Yakın Geçmiş made it to numerous new media festivals such as Magmart, Videoart and AllArtNow. He has been working as a commercial director 2016-2020 and recently finished his PhD on Cinema and Television at Marmara University.
