Synopsis
During a violent civil war in Brazil, a couple moves into a house in the woods to start a new life. But discovering a hanged body on the site transforms the dream refuge into an even more harrowing chapter of their lives.

Denis Cisma
Denis Cisma is a Brazilian director who has been nominated for a Latin Grammy and has won awards at advertisement festivals like Cannes Lions, Clio, D&AD and One Show Interactive. He has directed documentaries for ESPN, Canal Combate and music videos for artists like Criolo, Milton Nascimento, Nação Zumbi. Currently, he is directing TV series for HBO and Netflix.
Mauricio Bouzon
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Mauricio Bouzon is a screenwriter and develops feature film and TV projects for several Brazilian production companies. Mauricio has created and written TV shows for some of the major streaming services and networks, including Star+ and TV Globo. In 2019, he wrote the short film Glória, shot in Cuba and exhibited in festivals around the world. Burn the Dead, written by Mauricio, is his directorial debut alongside Denis Cisma.
