Au travers d’un récit personnel, une voix nous emmène dans les abysses oubliées de l’histoire du cinéma, à l’époque où de nombreuses femmes créaient. Entre passé et présent, souvenirs et oublis, mémoire et effacement. Un voyage sensoriel, flottant et poétique, qui nous renvoie à notre propre savoir, nos croyances et nos constructions personnelles et sociales.

What’s worth remembering? Who decides what is worthy of remembrance? Through images shot at the beginning of the 20th century by women filmmakers, the director questions her references, and what she has been taught and passed on. Between past and present, memories and omissions, the audience (re)discovers women who have made cinema what it is today. A sensorial and poetic journey that takes the spectator back to his own knowledge and personal and social constructions.
