CineClub presents: DIAMOND ISLAND
Get your pass here and discover all the gems the Festival Scope team has for you.
Diamond Island is an island on the shores of Phnom Penh that has been transformed by property developers into the symbol of Cambodia’s future, an ultra-modern paradise for the rich. Bora is 18 years old and, like many young people from the countryside, he leaves his native village to work on this vast construction site. There he befriends other workers of his age, until he finds his older brother, the charismatic Solei, who disappeared five years earlier. Solei opens the doors to an exciting world of urban, privileged youth, its girls, its nights and its illusions.
