The world’s first “Dumpster Archeologist’, Lew Blink, takes us on a journey through dimly lit alleyways, offering a look into our materialistic values and how we conceal aspects of our lives. He guides us to reflect on the human experience, privacy, and the narratives embedded within the objects tossed into the trash.
About the director
Dustie’s journey began in a small town where he worked in the rice and cotton fields of the Missouri Bootheel and Northeastern Arkansas. Whenever he wasn’t working in the fields, he would create skateboarding and other fun stunt videos. However, Dustie’s dreams were much bigger than the agricultural landscape that surrounded him. Fueled by a deep passion for storytelling, Dustie decided to leave behind his family’s farm and pursue a career
in filmmaking. He finds comfort in exploring his artistic versatility and spends his time creating narrative films and music videos under the name StolenSun.
