Synopsis:

The search of Pari, an Iranian woman in her 40s, for her son, who came to Athens to study but has gone missing, will take her on a journey from the darkest corners of the city and the hidden depths of her own self to her ultimate freedom.

Curator’s sight:

Language, whether everyday or poetic, is a crucial and very delicate dimension we enter as we approach a new country. It embodies, from the beginning of the film, the essence of the protagonist, Pari, the main interpreter in the journey she embarks with her older husband as they search for their lost son. Her voice is the key to access the different souls of this new city, and the key to her personal change. Pari’s fruitful inner confusion metaphorically reflects the chaos of the different worlds she meets along her way.
