Synopsis

When a French couple adopts two Lithuanian children, they invite Gabriele, a young Lithuanian student, to live with them as an interpreter and help the children adjust. In their idyllic mountain home, subtle cultural clashes and power struggles emerge between parents and translator, love and control, exposing the fragile balance beneath the façade of a perfect family.
