Synopsis
THE DEVIL’S THROAT draws on family archives from a trip to Iguazú Falls, bringing us closer not only to the physicality of memory but also to the traces of absence. Images from the past, filmed by the director’s father, are interrogated by the son in the present, tracing a personal cartography where emptiness, secrets, and grief surface. In this shift between times, the film invites us to witness, as intimate accomplices, a second journey: that of farewell.
