JCC Montreal emerged from the prestigious Carthage Film Festival, which occurs annually in the city of Tunis (Tunisia). Since its foundation, in 1966, it aims to showcase African and the Arab World’s cinema as well novel experiences from the rest of the globe. JCC Montreal aims to offer Montreal’s multicultural demographic the possibility to follow different chapters of JCC through a selection of films solely based on its official library.
The 2nd festival will occur from the 22nd through the 24th of January 2021, one month after the end of the 31st occurrence of the Carthage Film Festival, which occurred from the 18th through the 23rd of December 2020 in Tunis.
