The Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival (Docudays) is the largest documentary and human rights film event in Ukraine. Docudays UA festival plays a very significant role in the cultural and human rights sphere in Ukraine and in Eastern Europe. It’s held annually in the last week of March in Kyiv. Throughout the year, the festival team actively works to promote Ukrainian documentaries on an international level and support the Ukrainian film industry. The Festival promotes the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, establish human dignity as the highest value, increase civil engagement in Ukraine, and encourages the growth of documentary filmmaking. The festival concept of this year is “the image of the future”. The white blank page lets anyone imagine their own ideal future and make up their own dream. The organizers start the discussion with the audience to formulate a new Ukrainian dream.

Docudays & Festival Scope collaborate with ShareDoc, the first international platform that enables documentary audiences to take direct action to support your protagonist in need, giving them a tool to turn their empathy into action, founded by Anne Marie Borsboom.
The initiative is designed to empower and motivate documentary lovers to take action after watching a documentary by supporting a protagonist or a charity with a QR code featured in the credits, and to act for impact by donating or igniting a petition or organizing awareness.
