The Lucca Film Festival is an event held in Lucca to celebrate and promote both national and international film culture. Established in 2005, the festival offers screenings and performances showcasing a variety of perspectives from mainstream to auteur cinema. Il Lucca Film Festival è un evento che si svolge a Lucca dal 2005, a cadenza annuale, di celebrazione e diffusione della cultura cinematografica affrontando gli apparenti contrasti tra Cinema d’essai, sperimentale e mainstream nella più ampia categoria dell’opera d’arte. Il concorso cortometraggi ha visto quest’anno l’affluenza di oltre 600 film da tutto il mondo.
