ALL THE HANDS I'VE LET GO
Synopsis
Following her mother’s death, filmmaker Laura Chará goes to her grandmother’s and aunt’s home to try to piece together a coherent narrative that gives meaning to her loss. Faced with her grandmother’s reticence, the granddaughter’s inquisitive attitude shifts toward a more attentive contemplation of the space, seeking to compensate for the significant silence that, when observed with an open mind, nonetheless offers us some answers. At the same time, ALL THE HANDS I’VE LET GO makes the filmmaker a guest of her own questions, providing shelter and a place for her to inhabit them, inviting us in as well.
