Synopsis

In LUMINOUS MOUNTAIN, there is a richness in the geology of textual layers that grow from the center to the summit of the mountain that the film constructs. The tensions surrounding the treasures of the earth’s belly and the woman’s belly elaborate a delicate map of stratigraphy which, although opaque and dark, has a resolution filled with very intense life: an appreciation of bodies that pulses like a spell against the pains of the world.
