Synopsis

Love is potentially one of the most subversive forms of life. In this programme, we go from love as a formal undercurrent to its manifestations as defiance towards power and a source of protection from it. Happy Valley probes the role of the so-called ‘little things’ through the exploration of scenes in the aftermath of civil unrest in Hong Kong. N’s Last Game takes us through a world of simulated memories and desires as a prayer for a victim of the psychiatric system. Are We Monsters? is set in a border province between Thailand and Malaysia, where being gay is the sin of monsters destined for Hell.
