If you’re not in the Halloween mood, grab your popcorn and hit play on these two films from the TorinoFilmLab lineup.
TorinoFilmLab has been supporting filmmakers, auteurs, producers, and audiovisual professionals from all over the world since 2008, paving the way for a new wave of independent cinema. With over 180 titles developed and released, new scenarios to explore, and boundaries to break, laughter serves as a universal language. That’s why TorinoFilmLab has launched the first-ever international Lab in Europe dedicated entirely to comedy.
So, this Halloween, why not laugh your head off?
From 31st October to 30th November, two TFL films will be available for free on Festival Scope: THE WOODCUTTER STORY by Mikko Myllylahti and DIAMANTINO by Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt.
And if you believe that laughter is a serious matter too, check out the call for applications for ComedyLab at www.torinofilmlab.it. ComedyLab brings together talented scriptwriters and comedians from around the world to explore the comedy potential of amusing feature film projects, working directly on script development. The call is open until 20th December.

TorinoFilmLab is organised by the National Museum of Cinema and supported by Creative Europe - MEDIA sub-programme of the European Union, Ministero della Cultura, Regione Piemonte and Città di Torino.
