EURODOC

When EURODOC was launched in 1999, no training lab existed specifically for documentary producers. The founders wished to foster a new way to produce and co-produce ambitious creative documentaries across European borders: a deep engagement, international scope, and groundbreaking cinematic research were their battle cry. Documentary is the force that never stops pushing cinema’s boundaries, and our societies need the widest and craziest diversity of documentaries to deeply reflect on themselves; these are the mottos of our programs.

Soon after its creation, EURODOC opened to non-Europeans and this day has trained about 1700 fearless producers, producers-directors, and some commissioning editors, from more than 70 countries. The films developed at EURODOC have been broadcast on television, released in theaters, and shown in festivals worldwide - some are still available, some have become classics, and others have been forgotten in various cinematheques.

Thanks to our collaboration with Festival Scope, we are delighted to be offering a selection of films that were developed and dearly honed in our labs through the years, and to proudly share them with our audiences through a monthly program.
